Apply for UGA today! Applications close September 28th.
Whether you're a fresh-faced first year or a seasoned veteran postgraduate student UGA has a place for you, even if you're a non-engineering student.
The society is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in an industry style environment, working in a multi-disciplinary setting where teamwork and communication is key.
We have received direct feedback from our industry partners that the experience UGA gives students is exactly what they're looking for in prospective employees.
A degree can give a great understanding of theory, but applying the theory that is learned in lectures to a real world problem is a different kettle of fish.
UGA provides the perfect environment to learn how to apply what is learned from a degree program.
Some of our industry partners are so keen on our ability to develop students that they give UGA members prioritised access to internships!
External Recruitment at UGA begins on the 14th of September 2026 and will run until the 28th of September. Applicants can apply to three of six possible teams, ranking their preference in order.
There is a mix of short and long answer questions, and a CV requirement, to help us get to know you and see if you're the right fit for our technical teams. You may be invited to an interview on the week beginning the 28th of September.
There are more applicants than there are positions, and so we encourage people to spend some time on their application to ensure their best chance of being accepted. If you have any questions about any of the recruitment process, Contact Us or come and see us at one of our many events running throughout Fresher's Week!
